The Competition Platform allows users to easily set up and manage a mobi-ticket powered competition to drive footfall to a shop, venue or exhibition stand. As well as driving footfall the mobi-competition also generates attention and excitement around the event.
The competition can be set up in a number of ways. Posters and fliers at an event (exhibition, concert etc) can be used with a call to action to text into a short code to enter the competition. An automatic responder on the platform generates and returns a unique mobi-ticket that is taken to the event to be scanned. Alternatively a user who has opted in can simply be sent the competition ticket with the instructions to present this at the shop/venue for a chance to win. At the shop/venue a web application then validates the barcode presented and randomly determines whether this is a winning ticket or not. The branded “Win!” or “Lose” message can then be displayed on a large plasma screen accompanied by a fanfare soundtrack. Winners are immediately rewarded with a prize. All entrants who validate their ticket are also entered into a larger prize draw. When the competition is closed, the overall winner is randomly selected from a web report.
The competition can be completely administered by the client from set up, specifying the win-chance that controls the random winner selection, and reporting on the validated entries. |
